Charles K. Dabbs, M.D.

DabbsDr. Dabbs received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Charity Hospital and a residency in ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami. Dr. Dabbs completed his retina fellowship at Emory University. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Mandar M. Joshi, M.D.

JoshiDr. Joshi is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He attended the University of Michigan School of Medicine, where he received a Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Joshi went on to complete an internship at St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center, and a residency in ophthalmology at Tufts University/ New England Eye Center. He completed his retina fellowship at Associated Retinal Consultants/William Beaumont Hospital.

 

Juan F. Lebron, M.D.

JuanDr. Lebron attended medical school at the University of Puerto Rico. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Lebron completed an internship at the Cleveland Clinic, and a residency in ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his retina fellowship at the Vitreoretinal Foundation/University of Tennessee.

Nicholas J. Leonardy, M.D.

LeonardyDr. Leonardy obtained his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, and completed a transitional internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, and a residency in ophthalmology at Emory University. Dr. Leonardy is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He completed his retina fellowship at the University of Wisconsin.

Philip T. Nelsen, M.D.

NelsonDr. Nelsen obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Medical School. He completed a rotating internship at Milwaukee County Hospital, and a residency in ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical Center. Dr. Nelsen completed his retina fellowship at Albany Medical College.  He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Ira K. Orgel, M.D.

OgelDr. Orgel received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine. He completed internships in internal medicine and primary care at the University of Virginia Hospital. Dr. Orgel completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of North Carolina, and a retina fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Samuel R. Pesin, M.D.

PesinDr. Pesin attended medical school at Yale University, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed an internal medicine internship at Graduate Hospital/University of Pennsylvania and a residency in ophthalmology at the Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Pesin completed his retina fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

David B. Schnitzer, M.D.

SchnitzerDr. Schnitzer earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland, College of Medicine. He completed a transitional internship at Union Memorial Hospital, and a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Maryland Hospital. Dr. Schnitzer completed his retina fellowship at McPherson Associates, Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Mehnaz Khan, M.D.

KhanDr. Mehnaz Khan is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University, and her medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Her post-graduate experience includes an internship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor and a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Khan completed her retina fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute.
