Meet Dr. Aslam

Dr. Sanah Aslam is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care, advanced and refractive cataract surgery, and complex anterior segment care to patients throughout the Toledo metropolitan area. After completing her ophthalmology residency at Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Dr. Aslam completed fellowship training in Refractive Cataract and Complex Anterior Segment Surgery under Dr. Timothy Page, renowned cataract surgeon in metro Detroit. She specializes in advanced cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens technology, lens exchange procedures, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and the management of complex cataract cases.

Dr. Aslam has extensive experience with modern lens implant technologies, including multifocal, extended-depth-of-focus, small-aperture, and enhanced monofocal lenses, allowing her to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s lifestyle and visual goals.

She is actively involved in the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery (AECOS). She has presented research at national ophthalmology meetings and authored peer-reviewed publications in ophthalmology.

Dr. Aslam is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and has participated in international ophthalmology outreach efforts focused on expanding access to sight-restoring care in underserved communities.
